The Public Safety Officer will provide security services with a customer-service approach, focusing on professionalism, fairness, and compassion. They will be responsible for ensuring safety and security, responding to emergencies, and providing information to patients, visitors, and team members.
Requirements
- Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) issued by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS)
- Valid driver's license
- High school graduate or GED
- 1 year of experience in security, related public safety, or customer service area
- Ability to function in a work environment with emotional intelligence, empathy, and compassion
- Collaborative work with medical staff and external law enforcement
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
