Radiology Technologist

The Radiology Technologist position is responsible for performing radiographic exams, interacting with patients, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of x-ray equipment and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Obtain and examine requisitions for every exam
• Question patients before procedures to obtain pertinent history
• Screen and document possible pregnancy on all female patients
• Perform procedures and maintain radiation safety
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to assist others as requested
• Maintain annual CPR certification
• Operate equipment in a safe manner
• Use Universal Precautions to protect self from bodily fluid exposure
