Registered Nurse - Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital - PICU - FT Nights

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is a newly expanded, state-of-the-art 24-bed unit designed to provide the highest level of critical care for our most complex pediatric patients. The unit includes an expanded family lounge with designated pods for respite, as well as private in-room bathrooms to better support families during their child's hospitalization. As the only Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center in the greater Charlotte region, our PICU provides a full spectrum of advanced critical care services, including Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and organ transplant.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire
• One year of pediatric or critical care in-patient RN experience is preferred
