Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) - EP Device is responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients with cardiac pacemakers and automatic internal cardiac defibrillator systems. The nurse will work in the Electrophysiology department and will be responsible for patient education, medication administration, and device management.
Requirements
- BSN or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- At least one-year current experience in EP/Device clinic or 5+ years of cardiovascular experience
- Proficient in interpretation of EKG/cardiac rhythms/ arrhythmias
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- CPR certification
