Electrical Senior Project Engineer - Industrial

Join AEI as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Industrial in our Austin office and help empower clients to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing Industrial and Advanced Manufacturing industry through design and improvement of electrical systems for all types of facilities.

Requirements

• BSEE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience)
• 10+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry for process/manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or governmental facilities
• Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution systems including specification of medium voltage (15kV – 69kV+) equipment, power systems fault and coordination studies, power system protection schemes and protective relays
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering calculation/selection software for engineering design programs
• Experience in researching, compiling and presenting project data for client presentations, shop drawing review and contract administration as requested by the project managers
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Effective working in applications such as MS Excel, MS Word and Bluebeam
• Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments
