Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings)

AECOM is looking for a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their national building engineering team. The role involves leading and overseeing structural design and project delivery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering, at least 5 years' professional experience in structural engineering, and proficiency in structural analysis and design software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (essential)
• At least 5 years' professional experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on building structures for a consultancy (or extensive design experience for a contractor / government department)
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit (essential)
• Experience with SAP2000, RAM, Ideastatica, and Grasshopper (advantageous)
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Australian Citizenship preferred, with previous or current defence clearance highly regarded
