AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer II to support a wide range of projects across industries. This role offers the opportunity to develop analytical and design skills while focusing on seismic design, seismic retrofits, and advanced structural analysis methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in structural design with steel, concrete, and masonry buildings
- Master of Science (with structural engineering concentration)
- Demonstrated experience applying all major structural design codes
- Demonstrated experience using 3-D structural analysis software
- Experience designing in Steel, Concrete, and Masonry
- Experience with Wind and Seismic lateral design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in use of REVIT/AutoCAD
- Experience with performance-based design
- Experience with ASCE 41 for retrofit of existing structures
