Aecon is a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, building what matters for future generations. The Project Coordinator will support telecom infrastructure builds through design coordination, constructability reviews, and permitting oversight.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Architectural program
- Minimum of two years coordinating hydro, telecommunications, or gas utility works
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software and experience customizing AutoCAD
- Familiarity with billing and invoicing processes
- Valid provincial driver's license in good standing
- Adequate knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents
- Proficient with the use of computers, software, including MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, in both written and verbal contexts
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others
- Excellent safety and attendance record and previously demonstrated strong safety awareness
