Job Description
Aecon Group Inc. is a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, safely and sustainably building what matters for future generations. We are looking for an EHS Advisor to actively promote a health, safety and environmental culture to all levels of employees.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry in a Health and Safety role
- Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for British Columbia
- Strong knowledge of the WorkSafeBC
- Strong knowledge of other Regulations, e.g. WHMIS, Asbestos in Construction, Designated Substances, Smoking in the Workplace
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work with limited supervision and to be proactive
- Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
- Ability to work with others as a team
- Valid driver's license
