Job Description
Aecon is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join their team in Bowmanville, ON, CA. As a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, Aecon safely and sustainably builds what matters for future generations to thrive. The successful candidate will advise on soil management requirements, develop and maintain soil management plans, and oversee the import/export of soil for ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental or Geoscience/Earth Science
- 3-5+ years of relevant post-graduation experience with a P.Eng. or P. Geo designation
- Qualified Person (QP) with relevant professional designation (Engineering, Geoscience, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of the requirements of O.Reg.406/19 and O.Reg.153/04
- Experience conducting Environmental Site Assessments
- Valid G Driver License
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
