Job Description
Aecon is seeking a Hydrovac Operator to join their team, responsible for the safe operation of assigned equipment and performing daily tasks such as cleaning and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Hydrovac Driver/Operator, a valid Class 3 driver's license, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Requirements
- CSTS-2020 Certificate
- Ground Disturbance II (Global or Aztec)
- Previous experience as a Hydrovac Driver/Operator
- Minimum Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement and a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to understand verbal instructions and hand signals
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 25 kg
- Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures and policies
- Experience working around live utilities
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
