Job Description
Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join their engineering team in Charlotte, NC and Mt. Laurel, NJ. The role involves assisting with mechanical engineering tasks, preparing drawings, and supporting plant data gathering. Aecon is focused on building sustainable infrastructure for the future and fostering an inclusive work environment.
Requirements
- Completed 3 years of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a 4-year ABET accredited college or university.
- Completed coursework in thermodynamics, with power engineering and HVAC coursework preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with graphical design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD
- Experience working with others in a project team environment
- Strong technical writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States.
