Job Description
Aecon is seeking a Junior Engineer, Civil to join their team in Charlotte, NC and Mt. Laurel, NJ. The successful candidate will work with experienced engineers designing and modifying nuclear and conventional generation power plants. The role involves developing new structural designs, performing structural design calculations, and preparing documents and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a 4-year ABET accredited college or university
- Must have completed coursework in structural steel and reinforced concrete design
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with graphical design software such as Autodesk AutoCAD
- Take ownership of engineering work performed on a project
- Experience working with others in a Project Team environment
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
