Plant Operator

Aecon is a Canadian leader in infrastructure development, seeking a Plant Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will operate an Astec Double Barrel Asphalt Plant, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safe execution of tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in asphalt plant production, preferably Astec Double Drum plant
• Proven mechanical aptitude for general plant maintenance, welding, fabrication and basic electrical troubleshooting
• Valid Class 5 driver license
• Physical capability to repetitively lift and carry at least 40 lbs on a regular basis
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions
