Project Controls Coordinator

Aecon is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to provide project controls support to ongoing projects and support the project controls teams in deliverables. The role involves providing support for project control activities, participating in customer and internal management project status reporting meetings, and developing reporting documentation. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of related experience, a college and/or university degree in Engineering or a related field, and proficiency in written communication and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

• College and/or University degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of related experience is preferred
• Proficient written (report writing) communication skills
• Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of SharePoint applications an asset
• Passion for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and adaptive thinking skills
• Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment
• Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
• Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge
