Quality Manager

At Aecon, you can count on Safety Always, Integrity, Accountability, and Inclusion. We're looking for a Quality Manager to develop and implement quality management systems and procedures. The role involves evaluating and selecting suppliers, reviewing and accepting customer free issue items, and coordinating quality audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in quality management with major infrastructure projects
• Experience and knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards, including ISO9001, N286, and N299
• Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor or have experience in a similar quality management role
• Proven ability in coordinating efforts to support, mentor and audit Quality Management System requirements
• Experience in planning and managing Quality Assurance and internal processes
• Ability to apply technical knowledge, critical analysis and decision-making skills to identify and resolve issues
• Experience working on large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the MS Office suite
• Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
• Valid Driver's License
