Job Description
The Quality Manager â Rail Track Works will lead the implementation and oversight of the Project Quality Management System for rail infrastructure works on a "Metrolinx project".
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 2â3 years in a supervisory or quality management role, preferably in railway or transit infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements (Ontario experience preferred).
- Proven experience leading teams and coordinating quality control activities across complex construction projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problemâsolving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, document control systems, and digital QC tools.
- Experience conducting audits and managing standards compliance.
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead or Internal Auditor certification is an asset, and ISO QMS experience is strongly preferred.
