Job Description
Join Aecon as a Sr. Data Steward to lead the BPMO – Enterprise Analytics and Data Governance (EADG) team in ensuring trusted, high-quality, well-documented, and discoverable enterprise data. Work with IS, business units, and data product owners to establish a consistent and governed data landscape.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Technology Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Certifications in Data Governance/Data Management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP, DCAM) are not required, but they are considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Analysis.
- Experience with master data management, data cataloging, metadata management, and enterprise data quality.
- Experience with IBM Match 360, IBM Watsonx Data Intelligence, or similar governance/MDM platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica) is a strong asset.
