Job Description
Aecon is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Specialist to provide project controls support to ongoing mega-projects in the Nuclear sector. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of related experience, a quantitative, engineering, or construction management post-secondary degree, and strong analytical and adaptive thinking skills.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of related experience
- Quantitative, engineering, or construction management post-secondary degree
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented approach, focused on quality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Agility and flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Innovative problem-solving skills
- Project controls ambassador
- EPC contractor (self-perform) experience
- Construction field experience
- Mega-project or portfolio projects experience
- Microsoft Excel expertise
- ERP systems expertise (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE)
- Cost management or estimating systems expertise (e.g., Hard Dollar, EcoSys, PRISM)
- Due to the nature of the work, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment
