Job Description
Production Staff jobs at The Norva in Norfolk, VA for Lighting Director and Stagehand positions. Assist with lighting and visual production, set up and operation of venue lighting system, and stage and technical needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
- 4-6 years Related work experience
- Ability to operate light and plan for live production events
- Working knowledge of stand tools and equipment of the trade
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Office Professional Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Able to work various hours: nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Experience with music industry preferred
- Proficient in programming the MA Grandma 2 Light lighting console
