Senior Python Engineer

Senior Python Engineer to build backend services and data pipelines using Django, PostgreSQL, and AI coding agents. Responsibilities include building REST APIs, data models, and background tasks, designing data pipelines, and optimizing PostgreSQL queries. Must have 5+ years Python development experience with significant Django and PostgreSQL production experience, daily use of AI coding agents, and strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, and architecture patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years Python development with significant Django & PostgreSQL production experience
• Deep Django expertise: ORM, REST framework, migrations, Celery, complex queries, JSON operations
• Daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) in production work
• Strong understanding of testing, CI/CD, and architecture patterns
• Fluent English
