Aeroseal is looking for a Project Developer to support its building solutions services by providing hands-on technical expertise in HVAC systems, project scoping, and measurement and verification (M&V).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Science, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in commissioning (Cx), retro-commissioning (RCx), building performance, or a related field-based engineering role
- Demonstrated experience leading building audits, systems investigations, and field data collection across a variety of facility types
- Deep working knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow, duct systems, controls, and building automation systems (BAS)
- Experience with measurement and verification (M&V) planning, instrumentation, data collection, and reporting
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, mechanical schedules, and BAS trend data
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
- Comfortable presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, field operations, and clients in both field and client-facing settings
- Familiarity with utility incentive programs or performance-based projects is a plus
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards and familiarity with SMACNA guidelines is a plus
