Pricing Analyst III

The Pricing Analyst III prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts and assists Senior Pricing Analysts on large/complex proposals. The role requires a strong understanding of estimating & pricing principles and demonstrates application through hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy
• Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents costs estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies
• Prepares and validates cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts and vendor data, parts & equipment
• Identifies cost and price risks and applies to estimates where applicable
• Supports DCAA audits and assists with contract negotiations as necessary and liaises between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricing
• Performs analysis of cost estimates identifying inconsistencies and issues
• Develops different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by management
