Job Description
The primary role of the Software Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain web-based software applications that support national defense missions. The job involves building and maintaining web applications and backend services using Java and Python, and collaborating with developers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to define and refine features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and frameworks like Spring Boot or Flask
- Experience with Git, containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes), and virtualized development environments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and data pipelines
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph
