The Systems Engineer Technical Expert will provide technical leadership and hands-on support for Zero Trust implementation efforts, focusing on systems engineering, architecture development, and technical integration across Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities. The role will involve collaborating with engineering teams, developers, and security stakeholders to design, document, and implement secure, compliant Zero Trust solutions.
Requirements
- Provide systems engineering and technical support for Zero Trust implementation efforts
- Collaborate with ICAM capability teams to define requirements, develop system architecture, and produce design documentation
- Perform technology assessments and support risk mitigation activities
- Provide hands-on support for configuration management, installation troubleshooting, and cloud-based technologies
- Apply industry, federal, and DoD standards and policies to system designs and implementations
- Create and maintain ICAM Zero Trust documentation
- Work with various technologies such as REST, Oracle/MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Docker, AWS, NiFi, and Single Sign-On solutions (OAuth and SAML)
- Research and analyze cloud security environments and architectures
- Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities and DoD accreditation documentation
- Identify capability gaps and recommend enhancements for ICAM services
- Define implementation processes and outline hardware and software considerations
- Assist software development teams with requirements tracking, sprint planning, design input, and testing support
