Virtualization Engineer

AV is seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our virtualized infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware or Nutanix environments and possess a strong background in enterprise virtualization, system integration, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Design, deploy, and manage virtualization infrastructure using VMware vSphere, Nutanix, or similar platforms.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot virtual machines, storage, and networking to ensure maximum stability and performance.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and migrations across virtual environments.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored virtualization solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, procedures, and configurations.
• Evaluate new virtualization technologies and recommend improvements to optimize infrastructure.
