Contract - Mechanical Engineer

Aescape is seeking a Contract Mechanical Engineer to design and execute the next generation of their hardware platform. The role involves working closely with electrical engineering, robotics, manufacturing, and product leadership to translate system requirements into manufacturable designs.

Requirements

• Own and execute mechanical engineering workstreams from kick off through production-intent designs.
• Translate system-level requirements into concrete design outputs.
• Partner with electrical and robotics engineers to resolve constraints.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly decisions.
• Develop CAD models and production-ready geometry.
• Support prototype builds and design validation.
• Contribute to design optimization initiatives and DFMEA activities.
