Auto Dismantler - Auto Salvage Yard

The vehicle dismantler is responsible for the safe and efficient dismantling of vehicles and the removal of usable parts and components for resale or recycling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of automotive mechanic experience preferred
• Forklift Certificate preferred
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Ability to properly use hand and power tools to disassemble vehicles and remove parts
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Must be able to work effectively alone or with others in a team environment
• Must be able to work collaboratively across functions
• Must be a self-starter with the demonstrated ability to meet timelines and schedules
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift, move, and carry objects and materials up to 50 lbs.
