The Affidea Group is seeking Patient Administrators/ Healthcare Assistants to join their team in Omagh for bank shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient files.
Requirements
- Greet and assist patients in person, by phone, or via email
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Register new patients and update existing records
- Maintain and organize patient files
- Process referrals, medical reports, and correspondence
- Liaise with clinical staff to coordinate patient flow
- Handle patient queries and complaints
- Use software to manage patient data and appointment schedules
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and filed appropriately
- Generate reports and assist with audits
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and administrative area
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide empathetic support to patients
- Assist with safe patient transfers and positioning
- Support basic comfort needs and keep patients informed
- Support completion of pre-screening questionnaires
- Restock consumables and support questionnaire pre-checks
- Assist Radiographers in placing and removing coils and patient positioning
- Uphold Infection Prevention & Control
- Follow local radiation protection rules
- Participate in audits, stock checks, and room turnaround standards
