Software Engineer II (ML Feature Platform)

Affirm is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their ML Feature Platform team. The team owns the end-to-end flows for features and works closely with the ML Training & Serving Platform team to create the ML + Data flywheel. The ideal candidate is passionate about ML enablement and believes that platform level improvements can bring snowball effects across the company.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin
• Familiarity with building blocks of distributed systems and technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
