Nepali Interpreter

Affordable Language Services is seeking a Nepali Interpreter to facilitate communication between people who speak different languages. The ideal candidate will have a high school education, fluency in English and Nepali, and the ability to interpret in medical or legal settings.

Requirements

• Render accurate, comprehensive and professional interpreting services
• Maintain professional standards by attending continuing education trainings
• Speak, read, and write fluently in ENGLISH and TARGET language
• Willing to be trained in medical or legal interpreting
• Sensitive to cultures other than your own
• Legally able to work in the United States
• Willing to do screening including: TB test, drug test, and FBI background check
• Able to provide documentation of MMR/Varicella immunizations
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
