Job Description
AFL is a leading provider of integrated solutions in the fiber optics industry. The company is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team in Calgary, AB, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating AFL owned equipment, training team members, and ensuring safe excavation/installation practices.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience in telecom industry
- Strong mechanical and analytical ability
- Ability to do fine, precise work with their hands
- Must be able to work at height of 30 feet
- Ability to manage a physically demanding workload
- Proficient in operating hand and power tools, and test equipment
- Normal color vision to work with color-coded wiring
- Fluent in English
