AFRY is seeking an Electrical Engineer-Power System Studies to join their team in Montreal, QC, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for power system studies, simulations, and reports, as well as electrical design and calculations.

Requirements

• Load flow, Short Circuit, relay settings and protection coordination, Arc Flash, harmonic evaluations, ground grid sizing and motor starting analyses
• Single line diagrams, metering and protection diagrams, underground and above ground power cabling, grounding plans and details
• High, medium and low voltage cable sizing, specifications for power distribution equipment, bid analysis, and recommendations for purchase
• Electrical calculations, physical layout drawings of electrical rooms, transformer rooms, outdoor substations
• Technical project work, standards, codes and regulations, safety and risk analysis, technical reports and construction specifications
