Job Description
AGAT Laboratories is hiring a Laboratory Technician to work in our Gas and Condensate Lab in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The role involves preparing samples, performing lab analysis, and maintaining instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in Chemistry/Environmental Science and experience with GC equipment.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or Technical Diploma in Chemistry/Environmental Science preferred
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain GC equipment
- Intermediate computer skills with experience using MS office
- Ability to work in a team environment and mentor other technicians
- Some lifting and carrying (up to 10kgs)
- Participate in on-call for weekends and evenings
- Willing to work overtime during peak season
