Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the mining industry, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the implementation of engineering practices and experience with tools such as JD Edwards (or an equivalent system), Dynamic Production Monitoring System, Active Factory Tool, Achiever, Isometrics, and QlikView.
Requirements
- Drive and ensure the optimum availability, reliability, productivity, and safety of plant and equipment from an electrical perspective through team management.
- Supervise and manage maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
- Oversee contractor management to ensure compliance with standards and timely execution of work.
- Control budgets and manage costs effectively to ensure financial targets are met.
- Provide supervision and leadership to the team, fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Ensure strict adherence to SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) standards and regulations.
