Job Description
The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation and serving of meals and maintains a safe and sanitary work environment at AgeCare Woodhaven-1 in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
Requirements
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniors (preference)
- Food Service Worker Training Program
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and transfer heavy, hot items
- Ability to stand/walk for majority of shift
- Proficiency in a second language (asset)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (including a criminal background check) or willingness to obtain
