Job Description
AgeCare is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care to meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
Requirements
- Sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term/retirement nursing
- Knowledge of relevant sections of the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and other pertinent Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes
- Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- RPN Nursing program with Medication Administration course or equivalent
- RPN Medication Administration Certificate program or equivalent
