Agility Robotics is a leading developer of humanoid robots designed to operate in real-world environments. We are seeking a Staff System Validation Engineer to execute rigorous system-level verification and validation for our humanoid robot platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years of system-level verification and validation experience in robotics, autonomous systems, automotive, aerospace, or similar complex electromechanical systems
- Hands-on experience using robot simulation environments to develop and execute test cases, generate synthetic test scenarios, and support regression testing at scale.
- Experience testing complex robotic or electromechanical systems including manipulation, locomotion, or similar multi-DOF systems
- Familiarity with safety-critical system validation and functional safety standards such as ISO 13849, IEC 61508, or ISO 26262
- Experience in fast-paced product development environments balancing rigor with speed
- V&V Expertise: Solid understanding of verification vs. validation, V-model processes, test design techniques, and requirements traceability.
- Robotics Fundamentals: Working knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, sensing, and actuation sufficient to effectively test and debug robotic systems
- Test Automation: Proficiency in Python or similar languages for developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
- Test Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with test fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
- Troubleshooting: Strong debugging skills across hardware-software integration issues in complex systems
