As the Legal Knowledge Engineer, you will apply legal expertise and AI/Generative AI experience to propel execution of Agiloft’s AI product roadmap. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, MLOps, and Engineering teams to shape AI-driven solutions and design and refine prompts and related inputs to enable extraction of complex concepts across a range of agreement types.
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial legal experience (law firm, in-house, or legal service provider) or 2+ years of hands-on experience as a legal knowledge engineer or in a similar role
- JD from an accredited law school is a plus; admission to and in good standing with the bar of at least one U.S. state or Canadian province/territory is an additional plus
- Experience with prompt engineering, including designing, refining, and validating LLM prompts to produce high-quality, reliable outputs
- Familiarity with agentic AI concepts or experience working with agentic workflows is a plus
- Experience with contract management solutions and/or legal operations is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to cross-functional initiatives spanning legal, product, and technical teams
- Proven experience in collaborating effectively with peers, including legal knowledge engineers or similar roles
- Experience working with distributed, global teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and advancements
