Job Description
An internship opportunity at Agnico Eagle, a leading gold mining company, to support the underground mine department on technical projects and daily operations. Opportunities for growth and learning in a multicultural environment. The intern will work in the Mine Department and collaborate with other Departments. The role involves implementing ongoing/new projects and processes, supporting daily operations, and taking part in mine cycle optimization projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Materials Engineering or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Ontario Underground Common Core or Québec FMTM Mining Modules an asset
- Previous experience in mining is advantageous
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is beneficial
- Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport within teams
