Job Description
Agnico Eagle is seeking a Mine Engineer to join their Engineering Department at the Detour Lake Mine. The successful candidate will ensure that mining plans are consistent with data from geology, survey, maintenance, geotechnical, safety and environment, and provide daily and weekly blending plans for the plant production forecast.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mine Engineering with eligibility for P.Eng registration with the PEO
- Between 3-5 years' experience in mine planning with 2 years in an open pit mine
- Experience with Hexagon MineSight and Maptek Vulcan considered a strong asset
- Experience with Fleet Management Systems (Wenco) and use of reporting and analytical tools
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
