Job Description
Agnico Eagle is seeking a Mine Engineer to join their Engineering Department at the Detour Lake Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that mining plans are consistent with data from various departments, providing daily and weekly blending plans, and collaborating with the Drill & Blast group.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mine Engineering with eligibility for P.Eng registration with the PEO
- Between 3-5 years’ experience in mine planning with 2 years in an open pit mine
- Experience with Hexagon MineSight and Maptek Vulcan
- Experience with Fleet Management Systems (Wenco) and use of reporting and analytical tools
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
