New or Recent Graduate Mine Geologist

Agnico Eagle is seeking a Recent Graduate Mine Geologist to join their team at the Detour Lake Mine in Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily geological tasks, supporting operational excellence, and learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment. Agnico Eagle prioritizes the hiring of members from the Apitipi Anicinapek Nation, Moose Cree First Nation, and Taykwa Tagamou Nation, and the Métis Nation of Ontario.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or a related field (graduated within the last 2 years or soon to graduate)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator and team player
• Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and Agnico Eagle’s values
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI
