Regional Accountant

Regional Accountant role at Agnico Eagle, supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports, with a focus on IFRS reporting requirements and SOX compliance. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline, CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA designation, and experience with JDE and Hyperion systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in a related discipline (Business, Commerce, Accounting, etc.)
• CA, CMA, CGA or CPA designation preferred
• Experience and proficiency in JDE (or other ERP) and Hyperion (or other EPM)
• Exposure to Mining Environment or equivalent industrial organization
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• SOX compliance understanding
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Capacity to work to deadlines and reporting
