Job Description
As a Professional Services Technician at Trans Ova Genetics, you will play a crucial role in driving the future of bovine reproduction by providing expert on-farm skills to clients across the western region. You will be responsible for transferring embryos, performing ultrasound-guided procedures, and evaluating pregnancy status.
Requirements
- Masters or Ph. D in Bovine Reproduction or related field
- Qualifying experience may also be considered in lieu of advanced degrees
- Ability to put in long days (up to 14 hours) during peak periods and potential overnights
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors when transferring embryos
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with ability to remain on feet for long periods of time
- Strong and reliable back, shoulder, arm, hand, and ability to manipulate the bovine reproductive tract multiple times
- Excellent hand coordination and finger sensation
- Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
