Job Description
AIIR Products is seeking a Building Simulation Engineer to join its design engineering function. The successful candidate will use advanced simulation tools to predict the energy use and performance of buildings, and collaborate with design teams to integrate energy-saving features into software control algorithms.
Requirements
- Minimum of Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of eight years of experience in building energy modelling
- Professional certification like Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP)
- Knowledge of building codes and standards related to energy, such as ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC
- Experience with CAD and BIM software, as well as proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
