Job Description
This position is responsible for ensuring staff assist individuals with achieving personal goals while promoting self-confidence and well-being. The Residential Community Habilitation Coordinator provides training, evaluations, and program implementation within the service setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 Years experience working in the field of ID/DD or related field
- 1 Year Managerial experience preferred
- Knowledge of applicable Regulations
- CPR/First Aid, AMAP, and SCIP Certification
- Valid NYS Drivers License acceptable to Agency insurance standards
- Ability to work independently, organizational skills, reliable decision making with demonstrated critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
- Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Well developed team skills, unquestioned integrity, and the experience, confidence and presence to effectively handle interpersonal relationships and deal with sensitive issues
