Job Description
The Start-Up Broker will assist individuals with developmental disabilities to develop a complete Self Direction plan and budget, and provide ongoing supports to ensure successful implementation, review and updating of the plan and Medicaid compliance.
Requirements
- Office for People with Developmental Disability (OPWDD) Start Up/ Support Broker Certification
- Associate’s Degree in a Human Services Related Field with 2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities; OR Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services Related Field with 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Valid NYS Driver’s License acceptable to Agency Insurance standards
- Ability to exhibit/maintain a professional, kind, courteous and patient manner at all times
