RN job at OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic

AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support OB/GYN outpatient care at NMCP. The RN will assist with scheduled visits, procedures, and follow-ups involving prenatal care, family planning, contraception, and gynecological health.

Requirements

• Deliver nursing services as authorized by clinical privileges and state scope of practice
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and healthcare staff
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, infection control, and safety procedures
• Support clinical tasks and staff training where needed
• Conduct initial assessments, obtain vitals, and document patient history
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures (e.g., pap smears, biopsies)
• Provide prenatal and gynecological education to patients
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed
• Collect lab samples and ensure proper documentation
• Follow up on test results and communicate care plans
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and support continuity of care
• Provide patient counseling and education on contraception, prenatal care, or recovery
• Float to other OB/GYN clinics when necessary
