Job Description
Ainsworth, a subsidiary of GDI, is seeking a General Journeyman Electrician to join their growing team. The role involves installing, commissioning, and servicing building automation systems. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of electronic theory and building electrical/mechanical systems, and is comfortable working in a construction environment.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s license
- Oregon General Journeyman License
- Washington O1 or O6 electrical license (an asset)
- Building Controls Experience (an asset)
- Fluent in English (written & oral)
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specs
- Medium physical requirements
- Ability to climb ladders
- Good knowledge of the Oregon Electrical Code
