Job Description
The Freelance Payroll Consultant may be responsible for processing payroll, running payroll, contributing to training, administering statements of payment, processing taxes and benefits, and addressing employee questions. This is a remote freelance position with a large consulting firm across Canada.
Requirements
- Experience with updated and new provincial and federal taxation regulations
- Ability to run payroll end-to-end, weekly and or bi-weekly
- Ability to administer statements of payment and process taxes and employee benefits
- Ability to address employee questions and concerns
- Ability to prepare reports for upper management and finance department
